WebPrint Plus

This test was performed on a G4/450 (AGP) with System 9.0.4. The printer used was an Epson Stylus Color 860. The printer was set to print in black at its fastest automatic 360 dpi setting for plain paper. Similar relative speed gains can be expected when using WebPrint Plus 3.1 with other programs and system configurations.

Since most programs don't allow you to print only part of a page, this test shows the speed boost provided by WebPrint Plus 3.1 is even more dramatic when you use WebPrint Plus to print selected text from an application.

The percentage of speed boost provided by WebPrint Plus 3.1 represents the percentage of additional time it takes to print the information when not using WebPrint Plus.
